Blue Light Alliance partners with organizations that serve the Plain (Amish/Mennonite) community and other underserved groups. We work to bridge cultural, communication, and justice-system gaps that place these communities at risk.
What We Offer Right Now
- Outreach planning consultations
- Introductory education on court processes, reporting abuse, and navigating law enforcement
- Connections to interpreting resources and culturally competent professionals
What We Are Building
- A multi-county education series for law enforcement and courts on Plain community culture and trauma response
- Partnerships with community leaders, interpreters, and advocates
- A broader outreach program extending to all 67 counties in Pennsylvania
