Empowering Survivors and Communities
Blue Light Alliance helps survivors of trauma and legal abuse navigate the systems that are supposed to protect them. We connect survivors with credible resources, volunteer attorneys, and advocates who understand the terrain while educating law enforcement, courts, and communities to prevent abuse before it happens.
We stand with those who've been ignored, dismissed, or silenced - and we work to ensure every story is seen and every voice is heard.

Survivor Support Programs
We help survivors navigate the systems that are often stacked against them - from understanding legal options, to finding credible attorneys, to preparing for court, reporting, safety planning, or advocacy.
No false promises. No runaround. Just real guidance and support, one step at a time.

Law Enforcement Engagement
We support law enforcement professionals and their families by providing trauma-informed resources, community trainings, and opportunities for dialogie that strengthen trust and well-being. We honor the dedication and sacrifices of officers who serve with integrity across Pennsylvania and beyond.
Project Blue Light
Each December, Blue Light Alliance hosts Project Blue Light, a statewide virtual gathering to honor fallen officers, retired officers, active officers, and all law enforcement professionals who have given so much to their communities. Families, survivors, and departments are invited to join us as we remember, celebrate, and shine a blue light of hope and gratitude.
Legal Advocacy & Court Navigation
Many survivors can't afford an attorney - and many don't know where to turn.
We're building a network of volunteer attorneys and trained advocates to help survivors understand their cases, prepare documents, connect with reputable legal aid, or find pro bono support when possible.
We focus on:
Civil and criminal cases involving abuse
Legal retaliation & legal system abuse
Survivors who fall above income limits for traditional legal aid
Navigation, preparation, and emotional support

Media & Journalism Partnerships
Stories change outcomes.
We're building a network of trusted journalists who report ethically on abuse, injustice, and legal system failures - ensuring survivors aren't ignored or silenced.
We connect survivors (when safe and appropriate) with journalists who approach stories with integrity, consent, and trauma-informed practice.

Community Education
We offer workshops that build safer, more informed communities - from recognizing legal abuse and coercive control, to understanding trauma, to helping families navigate complex systems.

Plain Community & Underserved Professional Outreach
We work with Plain community members (Amish, Mennonite, and related groups) as well as underserved professionals - including law enforcement, educators, medical providers, and front-line workers - to bridge gaps in communication, trauma understanding, and justice-system navigation.
Our outreach and training are available across all 67 Pennsylvania counties, with plans to expand nationally. Our focus is on trauma-informed practices, cultural awareness, and supporting those who support others.
